This policy explains what data North Market Lane does and does not collect. The site is static and intentionally minimal.

Local storage and the cookie notice

The notice shown on the home page records a single choice (accept or reject) in your browser's local storage so the notice is not shown again. This value stays on your device, is not transmitted to any server, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

The contact form

The contact form on the home page is handled entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the script simulates a short delay and shows a confirmation message. No data is sent to a server, stored remotely, or emailed. Anything you type stays on your device and is cleared from the form after submission.

External image hosting

Photographs are loaded from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser requests an image, that external host receives standard request information such as your IP address, as happens with any externally hosted resource. Their handling of that data is governed by the Wikimedia Foundation, not by this site.

Fonts

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Requesting those files exposes standard request information to that provider under their own terms.

No analytics or advertising

This site does not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts beyond the font and image hosts named above.

Children

The content is informational and not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Continued use of the site reflects the policy in effect at the time of your visit.
